The Steps To Find a Perfect Fit

At Saratoga Fireplace & Stove, we’re not interested in making a quick sale. We want to make sure you have the right product — one that fits your needs, your wants and your budget (yes – we can do all three!).

If you are looking for a new or replacement fireplace, the average timeframe from initial meeting to final installation is approximately three to four weeks. Much of that time is spent in the design phase with you, providing time for discussion, thought, review and revision as necessary.

STEP 1: VISIT OUR SHOWROOM

Meet with our experts in a relaxed, no-pressure setting, to talk about what you’re looking to achieve, and what options are available. We will discuss the benefits of each type of heat source (wood, pellet and gas) and what style best fits you and your home. Bring some measurements of the space at your home, but don’t expect us to push for a sale at this first meeting.

STEP 2: FOLLOW-UP CONVERSATIONS AND A HOME VISIT

After the initial meeting, head home and review all of the information you’re received, and consider the different options and accessories that can help make your fireplace or stove truly reflective of your personality. We will schedule a visit to your home to review the space and narrow down the selection.

STEP 3: RENDERINGS

Our designers will create computer renderings and meet with you to review how the fireplace you’ve selected will look in your home, along with the mantel or other accessories you’ve chosen.

STEP 4: INSTALLATION

We have our own staff of expert installers who will remove, retrofit and install your fireplace, stove, mantel or other items as needed, with a level of craftsmanship rarely seen any longer. Our crew takes pride in their work, and are exceptionally careful and respectful of your home. For work that takes more than one day, we clean up the work area and put back any furniture or items moved during the work. When removing old fireplaces and mantels, we do whatever’s necessary to limit the dust, including tenting work areas and vacuuming and removing equipment every day as needed.

STEP 5: FOLLOWUP

Service after the installation isn’t a marketing slogan for us. It’s simply a way of doing business to ensure a satisfied customer. We see it not just as business development – where a satisfied customer will recommend us to their friends and neighbors — but as the right thing to do. If you have any questions, even if it’s as simple as how to work the new remote for your gas fireplace, we’re here to answer your questions. And of course if there is a problem, we will work to correct it immediately.
