Doing the Job Right

At Saratoga Fireplace & Stove, we don’t believe in the phrase “closing the sale” but rather “starting a relationship.”

Since 1980, we have worked tirelessly to ensure our customers are not only happy, but are so pleased that they recommend us to their friends and neighbors. We want to exceed expectations 100% of the time.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

How do we do that? By investing in our team here, and ensuring everyone has a sense of pride and ownership in what we do. We don’t send a salesperson out on the showroom floor or an installer out to a customer’s home until they’ve been educated and trained to the highest standard.

Our installation manager has been with us since 2000, and our lead installer has been working here since 2003. Our lead designer has more than 30 years of experience right here at Saratoga Fireplace.

We believe in ongoing training and education, and work with the National Fireplace Institute -- the only nationally recognized certifying agency in the industry -- to educate and certify our entire staff. Our team also regularly attends rigorous factory training to remain on the cutting edge of the ever-changing technology in fireplaces, inserts and stoves.

CUSTOMER CARE

When our installers enter your home, they have two goals: a perfect installation of your new fireplace or stove, and minimal disruption to your home.

OUR CREWS

  • Lay down plastic sheeting to protect carpets;
  • Move furniture and put it back at the end of each day of work;
  • Tent work areas to prevent dust from spreading (and remove at the end of each day);
  • Sweep and vacuum at the end of the day.

Only the immediate area where we are working will be disturbed — no matter how big or small the job.
